Presentations, Speeches and Media Training
PRESENTATIONS
1 Giving a presentation can be extremely stressful, whether it's in-house, to your colleagues, or representing your company at industry conferences.
But it doesn't have to be.
Speaking in public is a skill like any other and you can learn it.
Every presentation builds both you and your company's brand.
I coach you on how to prepare, write, and present engaging speeches with or without PowerPoint, which will give you the confidence you need for a successful event.
SPEECHES
2 There are three important factors when it comes to speaking in public.
First is confidence in the knowledge that what you've written makes sense and that it communicates what you want to say in an engaging way.
The second is the confidence which comes from knowing that your presentation skills are not getting in the way of your message.
Presenting and communication skills are often ignored but without them, great speeches can be wasted.
MEDIA TRAINING
3 The final key to a successful public speaking event is being properly trained to anticipate and respond to unexpected, awkward or difficult questions.
These can come after your speech at a Q&A or during planned or unplanned media interviews or briefings with colleagues or journalists.
Never underestimate the damage a throwaway comment can make to the even best of presentations.
Remember, journalists are trained in asking questions so you should be, too.
